You can submit an idea as an individual or on behalf of a group of up to a maximum of four individuals.
No, there is no limit. However, in the interest of fairness to all other participants, only 1 of your ideas may be selected to qualify as a finalist.
Since the open call is for early-stage ideas, concepts and proposals, participants do not need to have an incorporated business or be part of an organization in order to enter the open call. However, we will welcome submissions on behalf of organizations or businesses that are youth-led.
Registration for and participation in the Challenge is free, with no purchase or payment obligation.
The open call has global prizes. All those who submit an eligible submission will receive a commendation. Individuals submitting an idea with a mean score of 7/10 will receive a certificate of excellence. At least ten individuals will be invited to join an in-person designathon in Lagos, Nigeria in March 31 - April 2, 2023.
Submission must be the original work of the Participant. The Participant must not knowingly infringe, misappropriate, or otherwise violate any intellectual property rights, privacy rights, or any other rights of any person or entity in the performance of work.
No, we encourage Nigerian girls and women from all backgrounds, skills and talents with interests in ending cervical cancer, to participate. We strive to have a diverse collection of participants from different areas/backgrounds to work together in order to create real change and make an impact in our communities.
Anyone can submit ideas to the open call, but we are particularly interested in submissions from girls and young women (9-26 years old) and women aged 30-49 years old working as a team. Girls who are 9-13 years old must have parental permission to participate in the contest.
We are looking for your input in creative ways to promote cervical cancer screening and HPV vaccination uptake among women and girls in Nigeria. If you have any exciting ideas, we would love for you to share them with us.

All you need to do is to complete brief form and describe the way cervical cancer screening and or HPV vaccination uptake can be promoted among women and girls living in Nigeria.
The deadline for submissions is March 5th, 2023.
Finalists will be notified of their selection through email or phone call. Applicants who are not shortlisted will not be contacted.
The winning mother-daughter teams will be invited to a designathon where they will be trained and mentored by experts on how to fully design HPV services also, attend a skill-building bootcamp for 4-weeks to train them on how to implement their ideas.
