4GW + 4C 2024 Art Contest

As the 4GW team prepares for the upcoming 2024 Cervical Cancer Elimination Day of Action on 17th November, we are excited to announce the return of our art contest. This initiative is focused on raising awareness about cervical cancer and providing a space for conversation and connection. We aim to engage everyone ready to join the efforts to eliminate cervical cancer in Nigeria through the power of their artistic expression.

This contest is an invitation for the community to share their commitment to a Nigeria free of cervical cancer through the artistic medium of their choice. We believe that art has the power to bring new voices, new ideas, and innovative perspectives to this work. We are calling on authors, artists, singer-songwriters, poets, illustrators, painters, videographers, and creators of all kinds to use their talents in service of this cause. By participating, you can become an advocate providing accurate information about the Human Papillomavirus (HPV), cervical cancer, and the ways we can eliminate it through HPV vaccination and screening.

Aim

This contest aims to leverage the power of art to increase awareness about cervical cancer prevention and engage the public in the fight to eliminate the disease. Art has the potential to move people, inspire action, and communicate important public health messages in ways that resonate more deeply than data alone.
